Allsorts Challenge #777 - Balloons/Anything Goes

 Hi Crafters,

I hope you've had a good week. It's Saturday again and that means a new challenge starting at Allsorts.

This week we have the fabulous theme of

BALLOONS / ATG

I'm trying to use up some of my older stash - it's amazing how much I have amassed over the years. This card uses papers from a very old 'Making Cards' magazine and the sentiment stamp was also a freebie on the front I believe. I used oval nesting dies to frame the image and some bakers twine for interest.

This week prizes are from AALL and Create

 We'd love to see what you make using our theme but there is always the Anything Goes option too.

Passion For Markers Challenge 735 - Check It Out

 Hi Crafters,

We have a new challenge starting today at Passion For Markers where we would like to see your creations using Checks, Gingham or Tartan.

Here is my card using James Bear.

This cute image is from Lili of the Valley and is called James Big Sign. I have coloured him using Copics and added a Dixi Craft die cut sentiment to his sign. The papers are from my stash along with the enamel dots and the frames are Tonic Studio Scalloped dies.

Well the weather here in Norfolk has been a little better of late, some sunshine and a bit of warmth, just what I needed. The trees are beginning to leaf up again and we have some colour in the garden once again from the pretty Spring flowers. This brings me nicely on to the theme for this week at Allsorts...

Allsorts Challenge #775 - For the Love of Animals/ATG

Hi Crafters,

We hope you can join us for this challenge,  April is National Pet Month which celebrates and raises awareness of responsible pet ownership.

So for our new challenge starting today at Allsorts we would love to see your creations using the theme - 

FOR THE LOVE OF ANIMALS

...but if not then you always have the Anything Goes option.

I have used this lovely image from CraftsUprint showing two magnificent horses. I have embellished with a Tonic Scalloped Frame die and Memory Box Floral Wreath die in silver mirri card. The shadowed sentiment die is from Sentimentally Yours and I managed to find some rather large half pearls in just the right colour in my stash.

Prizes for the next few weeks are from Highlight Crafts and Stamp Addicts.

Passion For Markers Challenge #733 - Monochrome

 Hi Crafters,

We have a new challenge theme at Passion For Markers starting today and I hope you can join in with us.

The theme this week is

MONOCHROME

We would like to see your new creations using tones of just one colour. You must use your markers on your project and link back to our challenge blog post.

I have used this 'never before inked' little stamp from Buzzcraft, the characters are called Fairy Doodles and there are several cute fairies doing sweet things. This little cutie is trying to catch a butterfly.

Crafts Galore Encore April Challenge #122 - ATG

 Hi Crafters,

It's April 1st, but no fooling around here today as we have a new challenge starting at Crafts Galore Encore.

We are an ANYTHING GOES challenge so we love seeing your beautiful creations using all sorts of techniques, styles and themes.

We are sponsored this month by Hetty Clare who are offering 2 digi stamps to the lucky winner. The Design Team have used images, kindly donated by Hetty Clare for their projects and here is mine using Rabbit & Hearts.

I have created a small circular card and after colouring this sweet image with my Pencils I masked it and then stenciled the heart background using Distress Oxide inks. I added a few black and white splatters, then wrote out the sentiment and after inking the edges I mounted on to coordinating card stock. I then added three enamel dots and outlined the image in a charcoal pencil to add definition and make it pop from the background.

KEEPING IT SIMPLE
